Cabo's Golf Bliss: Swing into Paradise

Embark on a golfing odyssey at Cabo del Sol, where two world-renowned courses redefine the art of play. The Ocean Course, a Jack Nicklaus marvel, stands proud as the 93rd gem in Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses in the World," offering panoramic views of the Sea of Cortes. Tom Weiskopf's Desert Course, a scenic wonder, sprawls across 140 acres of lush desert landscape. The colonial-style clubhouse, a 24,000-square-foot haven, complements these courses with breathtaking views.

Palmilla, Jack Nicklaus's original 27-hole masterpiece, weaves through bunkers, canyons, and rugged terrain, marking the birth of championship golf in Los Cabos. Cabo Real, crafted by Robert Trent Jones II, challenges golfers with oceanfront holes and panoramic vistas. At the same time, Querencia, Tom Fazio's Baja gem, harmonizes with nature, offering a golfing experience that both challenges and delights. Each course tells a tale of artistry, challenge, and the timeless allure of Los Cabos. Welcome to a golfing paradise where every swing is a stroke of brilliance.

It is breathtaking to observe the stunning deep blue Sea of Cortes meeting the cloudless radiant sky while enjoying yourself golfing. This course is well compared to Pebble Beach, with unforced, natural look that has been preserved.

Palmilla

Palmilla is the original Jack Nicklaus signature course with 27 holes featuring the Arroyo (Canyon), Mountain, and Ocean nines all incorporated in one course. It was this overwhelming combination that attracted many golfers and future developers to visit Los Cabos. When the first 18 holes opened in 1992, Palmilla was the first championship course built in Los Cabos. The Arroyo and Mountain nines snake through long bunkers, deep canyons and rugged desert terrain. The Ocean nine, added in 1999, drops down 600 feet from the mountain to the Sea of Cortez before entering the clubhouse.

Querencia

No golf course architect in the world can boast as many award winning projects as the famed Tom Fazio. Fazio’s first project of the Los Cabos Corridor, Querencia, is a true gem of Baja: a true celebration of nature within in a private but relaxed club atmosphere.

Of Querencia, Fazio’s first course outside the US in decades, he admits, “Once I experienced this land, I knew it was an extraordinary setting for world-class golf.”

With its bountiful desert vegetation and natural rock outcroppings, Querencia embodies Fazio’s legacy that “golf courses should reflect the natural beauty of the environment.”
